    Restroom Facelift is Well Underway

WE ARE MORE THAN THREE WEEKS into the renovation of the main restrooms downstairs, adjacent to Fellowship Hall. The contractors have been working every weekday, even during a few of the recent snow storms. A large dumpster left the premises on Monday, March 19, full of debris from the demolition. It is always amazing to see how much debris a small area can create.

The north wall of the ladies room was removed as you can see in one of the pictures below. This allows for widening of doorways so that they are handicapped accessible. Sheet rock was installed and the tiling is underway. Related plumbing was moved and new heating convectors were installed.

We thank you for your patience and understanding during this process. In a few more weeks we should be operational again and have beautiful new restrooms. They will most likely be the most beautiful place in the building and I suspect there will be lots of visitors to check them out!
